Cooling Fan - Bearings & Blades Replaced
The Cooling Fan was extremely noisy... as can be deduced from my last Video Clip (previous post)
Fan was removed (a bit of a pain) and stripped down.... bearings were knackered !
New bearings ordered.... and fitted. Also, as luck would have it, I managed to get hold of another fan unit which had no damage to the fan blades so one good unit was made out of the two.
I also had another Alternator... so decided to replace the existing one, which I now know works fine, so I now have a good spare.
vehicle has been started and sound lovely.... video to follow.
