All Engine Covers Fitted
Its been a while since I have posted anything..... mainly due to work, yet again, getting in the way !!
The Sabre is looking pretty good..... I am just starting to fit the Messier dampers. At the same time I will replace any dubious looking road wheels and change the oil in all of the wheel hubs.

Cooling Fan - Bearings & Blades Replaced
The Cooling Fan was extremely noisy... as can be deduced from my last Video Clip (previous post)
Fan was removed (a bit of a pain) and stripped down.... bearings were knackered !
New bearings ordered.... and fitted. Also, as luck would have it, I managed to get hold of another fan unit which had no damage to the fan blades so one good unit was made out of the two.
I also had another Alternator... so decided to replace the existing one, which I now know works fine, so I now have a good spare.
vehicle has been started and sound lovely.... video to follow.

Update 29th July 2013 !!
Can't believe my last post was back in May !!
Work and a Holiday have severely hampered progress.... so there was nothing to report..... however over the last couple of weeks work has resumed.
Front bulkhead fitted..... Fan and both belts fitted..... steering & brake hydraulics bled and checked for leaks.
Just sorting out the wiring... ignition and starter circuits working.... so all the other bits can wait. Front indicators work.... but there is no wiring to the rear end yet !
I really need to see the Sabre move under its own power so I'm concentrating on this objective. If I can drive it out and back into the garage then a big milestone will have been achieved.
So... movement is now quite close..... A) Connect all the gearbox oil pipes up B) fit radiator and coolant pipes C) Wire up the fuel pump !!
Here are photos taken today...

Turret Furniture...!
So... its been a while since i have updated the blog. I have had a problem with my shoulder plus work commitments and a holiday have slowed things down a bit. The gearbox is now in.... photos with my next post.
Most of the gear, periscopes, sights etc are now installed in the upper turret.
... in-fact she is pretty close to completion...... just cooling system (radiator / Fan etc) .. couple of bulkheads and drivers seat... plus check / test fuel pump... and we may be able to move under own power !!
Still got to collect "Part Worn" track from Chris McMillan.... and fit dampers and exterior bins. The interior (lower) of the turret.... basket seats etc will have to wait for now.
